The quickest way is in the app itself: Settings → Delete account, at the bottom of the page. It confirms who you are, then deletes everything straight away.
- Open ZoneSprout and make sure you are signed in.
- Tap Settings in the bottom bar.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Enter your password — or, if you sign in with Google or Apple and so have no password, type DELETE.
- Tap Delete everything.

If you cannot get into the app, email contact@gardenvive.com from the address you signed up with. Sending it from that address is how we know the request is yours.
Signed in with Google or Apple? Send it from the address that sign-in uses. If you used Apple's "Hide My Email", send it from the relay address — it reaches us the same way.
What is deleted
- The account itself: your email address, your name, and your saved state and zone.
- Any Google or Apple sign-in link attached to it.
- Your garden beds and everything planted in them.
- Your seed trays, journal entries, and the growth history behind them.
- Photos you attached to a planting.
- Your saved plants and your app preferences.
- Every active sign-in session, so it is signed out everywhere.
This is not recoverable afterwards, which is the point of it.
What stays
- The plant database itself. The plants, their charts and the native lists are ours, not yours — nothing about you is in them.
- Ordinary server logs, which record that a request happened rather than who made it, and age out on their own.
How long it takes
In the app it is immediate — the account is gone before the screen closes. By email it is within 30 days, and usually the same day; you will get a reply confirming it is done.
Deleting some of it, without deleting the account
You do not have to choose between everything and nothing. Anything you have made can be removed on its own, from inside the app, and it goes immediately — there is nothing to request and nobody to ask:
- A photo — open the planting in your journal and delete the photo.
- A planting — open it in the bed and remove it, along with its journal history.
- A whole bed, or a seed tray — open it and delete it. Everything planted in it goes too.
- A saved plant — tap the heart again to unsave it.
- A way of signing in — Settings → How you sign in, and remove the Google or Apple link. The last remaining method cannot be removed, because that would lock you out of your own garden.
Your email address, name, state and zone stay while the account does — they are what the account IS. To remove those, delete the account itself, above.
Just want to stop paying?
Cancelling a subscription is not the same as deleting an account, and it destroys nothing. Cancel through Apple or Google, and your beds, journal and photos stay exactly where they are — the planner simply locks until you come back. Delete the account only if you want it all gone.
